Cheshire-based niche digital jobs board Bubble Jobs has scooped a top prize at this year’s prestigious Recruiter Awards for Excellence.
Bubble Jobs took home the Best Job Board/Careers Board award at the ceremony, which was held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on Wednesday.
The sell-out event was attended by more than 1,200 recruitment professionals including Dragons’ Den star James Caan.
The job board, based in Cheshire, beat off stiff competition from CareersInAudit.com and CV-Library to be crowned Best Job Board.
Bubble Jobs MD Adam Butwilowski said: “It’s a great honour to receive this award, and it’s a fantastic testament to the hard work put in by our team.
“A huge thanks goes to the judges for recognising the innovative and effective approach Bubble takes to job advertising and digital careers as a whole.
“This is only the beginning and we can’t wait to share our latest projects with everyone.”
Bubble Jobs is the leading niche jobs board for the digital industry, specialising in advertising the latest vacancies in digital marketing, eCommerce, online gaming, social media, web design and much more.
In addition to the jobs board, they also run successful jobs and careers blog and a Digital Career Portal – a not-for-profit section of the site which has been designed to provide information and resources on careers in the digital sector.
They also recently joined the European Commission’s Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs initiative, pledging to raise awareness of digital and ICT careers across the UK.
Commenting on Bubble Jobs’ win, the judges, which included Rob Ryan, Recruitment & Talent Manager for Tesco Phone Shop, and Tim Campbell MBE, Head of Client Services and Emerging Talent at Alexander Mann Solutions, said they “loved the enthusiasm of the site, which was lively and well-targeted. Good use of blogs and social media.”
Recruiter Editor DeeDee Doke added: “The judges were particularly impressed with Bubble Jobs' weekly Twitter chat (#DigiJobsHour) and the multi-faceted Career Portal.”
Last night’s win comes just a few weeks after it was revealed that Bubble Jobs has also been shortlisted for an award at the Global Recruiter Industry Awards 2014.
