YourFoodJob, the UK’s number one job board for the food and drink industry has expanded into Denmark, with the launch of ‘YourFoodJob.dk’, and the opening of two Danish office locations.
Newly established YourFoodJob.dk will operate out of its head office at Roskilde, located to the South West of Copenhagen, with support from the firm’s second office location at Aarhus.
Director, Michelle Lilley explains: “YourFoodJob.com has consistently proved to be an essential partner to many international and UK food businesses, providing cost effective and speedy online recruitment solutions for the fast paced food and beverage sectors.
‘”As part of our strategic plan, we are delighted to confirm the launch in Denmark of a sister site, Yourfoodjob.dk. Like the UK, Denmark has a significant food manufacturing sector, employing 100,000’s of specialist people. But despite its size, scope and importance to the Danish economy, nothing like YourFoodJob exists. This presents a great opportunity for us and one we intend to capitalise on. This is part of an expansion strategy which will see the development of a number of new international products within the next 12 months, offering candidates and clients even greater choice and opportunities”.
In Denmark YourFoodJob will be represented by a dedicated team of food experts with local knowledge headed by Mads Kinch Clemmensen who has extensive international food recruitment experience, a strong network and insight into the Danish food and beverage market.
“In the Danish food industry it is a challenge to find suitable candidates for management and specialist positions, and I believe we should adjust the Danish food talent recruitment and talent attraction strategy. Yourfoodjob offers companies and food professionals an exciting new opportunity for cost efficient recruitment”, says Mads Kinch Clemmensen.
Michelle Lilley concluded: “Our digital resourcing solutions are used by many of the leading food brands and manufacturing businesses in the UK & internationally including Pepsico, Bakkavor, Greencore and many more. We aim to help them identify top food industry talent and reduce both the time and cost to hire senior professionals. These solutions, combined with our continued commitment to service excellence and old fashioned hard work, have enabled us to become the leading food-specific job board in the country. We are 100% confident that we will replicate this success in Denmark and beyond.’
The move follows the recent UK business expansion which saw YourFoodJob.com recently moving into newly redesigned, contemporary offices at Adelphi Mill in Bollington, Cheshire effectively doubling its office space, and enabling Yourfoodjob.com to meet ambitious growth targets over the next couple of years.
Trading for 7 years, here in the UK, Yourfoodjob.com has achieved a significant 23% year on year increase in turnover (30 September 2015, year end). The ambition is to develop a multi-million pound international operation within the next 2 years.
Yourfoodjob.com is the market leader of the online job board market with over 2,000 unique jobs posted on the site each month.
