Pupils from across the region have been meeting with staff to discover more about the vacancies they can apply for and how apprenticeships work.

The Sovini Group comprises registered housing providers, commercial companies and charitable enterprises, predominantly operating in Merseyside.

There are 13 apprenticeship vacancies available across the Group including joinery, roofing, quantity surveying, office administration, housing, commercial finance, electrical, warehousing and sales.

Staff from the Group have worked closely with Sefton Education Business Partnership and visited the Academy of St Francis of Assisi in Fairfield and Childwall Sports and Science Academy in the last few weeks.

The Sovini Group has a fantastic record when it comes to apprenticeships and employment, having been named the UK’s best workplace outside of London, and in the top ten best workplaces in Europe at the Great Places to Work Awards this month.

It has also earned accolades including being named Best Construction Firm at the CITB Apprentice Awards, and one of our Multi Skilled Apprentices earning the title of North West Apprentice of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Kerry Beirne, Head of People & Learning at The Sovini Group, said: “As an organisation we are dedicated to creating opportunities for local people, so it’s fantastic that we’re in a position to take on so many apprentices this year.

“We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed candidates who have a desire to learn and develop – if you think that’s you, apply now!”
