Altrincham's Meridian in Good Health After NHS Win

Leading recruitment agency Meridian Business Support has been placed on the Government Procurement Services (GPS) framework covering all regions of the UK. With the announcement, Meridian becomes one of a select few approved suppliers to General Nursing and Community Nursing across the National Health Service (NHS) trusts and the wider Public Sector.
The government’s newly implemented GPS framework agreement covers the supply of temporary nurses of all bands, including critical, general and midwifery. Designed to meet stringent NHS conditions, the framework is tailored to the specific requirements of individual trusts and all national regions.
In a fiercely contested process during which each regional lot attracted over 200 agency bidders, Meridian was shortlisted for all regions. The company was identified as a stand-out recruitment specialist with proven capabilities, after scoring the highest marks possible for its quality assessments and providing highly competitive quotes for each category.
Tina Cork, Head of Health at Meridian, says: “We are delighted to have been re-awarded a place on the General Nursing and Community Nursing framework across the National Health Service Trust and Public Sector covering all of the UK. Having been up against stiff competition, this is a significant achievement, earned thanks to a demonstration of our expert knowledge of the health sector and proving that our values are aligned with those of the framework. We look forward to working with the Trusts on the framework and building long-term working relationships with them.”
