JobsTheWord Report Record Demand For ‘Big Data’ Recruitment

The first company in the UK to offer a ‘big data’ solution to recruitment saw the demand for its services soar during 2013.
Knowlsey based JobsTheWord enjoyed a tripling of sales over the year with December recording the firm’s best month ever.
Co-founder, Lee Harding, explained:  “We have developed a bespoke platform, which uses complex algorithms to extract intelligence from online profiles, blogs and websites.”
“This means we are able to reach potential candidates, on behalf of companies, and inform them of opportunities they may never have otherwise known about.”
JobsTheWord’s services have attracted big brand clients including Easyjet, Amazon, World Pay, Samsung and O2, but also supports SMEs and startups.
The boost to the business meant the firm needed to expand its workforce during the year, recruiting an extra six staff, along with a move to larger premises based on Stanley Grange Business Park in December.
Technical Director and fellow co-founder, Will Crandle, commented: “We are very happy with what we have achieved so far, but we’re not standing still and excited about the plans for the next quarter.  Our use of Big Data has opened up so many opportunities never seen before in the recruitment industry, which we will continue to leverage on behalf of our clients.
